Easter is on it's way!

So, we still don't have the digital camera but I was looking on my friend Anna's blog and she had a tutorial about how to add color to black and white photos. I actually did it! And since Easter is coming, I thought I would share my results. Thanks Anna!

So here is the original picture.

And here is the enhanced photo.
um, it's not loading. I'll try later. :) Anna, could you please post a tutorial on why my pic isn't uploading and how to FIX IT!!! Too big probably. I don't know.

Much, much later... Anna is a GENIUS! She was RIGHT. It was saved funky. Here it is! So cute, eh?

This only my second ever attempt at posting a comment...let's see if I can make it work! Your little guys sure look great. I am so glad to have a way to keep up with your family. Who knows...I might be inspired to create my own blog soon!

I only have one guess...sometimes a JPEG format picture changes to BMP when you do photo editing. I don't know why, but I know my blog only accepts JPEG. Maybe yours is the same way. That's all I got! : )

Amy!
Hope you guys had a wonderful Easter! Kenny and were able to go to a really incredible Easter pageant in Louisville this year! It was a great way to reflect on the sacrifice of Christ and celebrate His resurrection! The kids and I made "resurrection cookies," taping the oven door shut on Saturday night and then opening it up on Sunday morning, with what were supposed to be hollow cookies depicting the empty tomb. For some reason, ours were definitely NOT hollow, so that was a bit of a bummer :)! Oh well! It was a valiant effort and the kids mostly got the point!
I emailed you a while ago to let you know I got your letter and to say a huge "thank you," but I am not sure you received my email. Am I still blocked on your list? Should I take that as a hint? HA!!! Just wanted you to know I appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity and friendship. Hope all is going well with your family. Let me know how you all are doing soon, okay!!!!

Autumn,
You're not on my spam list after all so I don't know what's up!!!

I'm cracking up about your resurrection cookies. Such good intentions!! I do have a recipe for something similar that definitely works. You wrap a large marshmellow in a crescent roll. The marshmellow melts and the roll is hollow when it comes out of the oven. That's the gist of it.

I miss you!

Amy, great blog. I relish the opportunity to see more deeply into your mind!!! Is this why we haven't seen as many Hens messages? And why do I always hear about cute Easter ideas after Easter?! Next year, Resurrection Cookies! Or Rolls...

Want to see an updated photo of Cecily with her huge hair!
